Our entry-level course is addressed to beginners who are interested to learn how to climb and belay. In the course you will learn basic belaying and climbing techniques.
Content in detail: how to put on your harness, operate the belaying device, connect to the rope by an appropriate knot and do the “partner check”. The course closes with the exam of the “DAV Toprope-Schein”. After successful participation, participants are allowed to use preinstalled ropes to climb and belay toprope independently in all DAV climbing gyms.
